Ard Rua Studio (Gaelic for Red Height) is located
in the picturesque village of Carrowmenagh,
on the east coast of the Inishowen Peninsula, County Donegal,
Ireland.
This is the Studio/Art Gallery & Publishing House
that exclusively handles the work of acclaimed Irish artist
John Quigley
John draws much inspiration from Irish mythology, Irish manuscript
decoration, stained glass, landscape and wildlife
which he fuses together to create his art.
His bold use of colour and line brought him to the attention of renowned
Irish artist
Jim Fitzpatrick with whom he has worked over the past decade.
His portfolio includes commissioned artwork for companies such as:
Donegal Parian China, Riverdance, Paramount Studios, Waltons Music, and
Swordpoint
Intercontinental Ltd.
His work is in Private collections throughout the world including pieces
owned by Nobel prize winning Irish poet Seamus Heaney,
Hollywood actor Roma Downey,Senator Edward Kennedy and Philomena
Lynott among numerous others.
In addition to this are his own range of Celtic posters, Prints and Greeting Cards which have received worldwide acclaim. These are available exclusively from this site.

new range of "Hot foiled" Wedding Invitations
and Greeting cards are now being launched.
These are hand printed by the artist on high quality paper.
